Brassens passion

Autumn 2011 is a mega-commemoration time for all Georges Brassens addicts. The figurehead of French chanson was born on 22 October 1921 and died on 29 October 1981. Numerous tributes have been organised around France to polish up (as if it needed it) the image of a singer who is still very present in the French musical landscape, perhaps with slightly faded colours, like a favourite old snapshot carefully preserved over the years. A great opportunity to look back over the career of a Gallic icon. Tribute to brassens
